As soon as you step into Mercado Coyoacán, you’ll be greeted by a sea of colors, sounds, and smells. The market is divided into different sections, each with its own unique offerings. We had the opportunity to eat smoked bugs; YOLO!

From the tangy ceviche to the savory tinga de pollo, each tostada is made fresh to order and comes piled high with toppings. Grab a seat at one of the communal tables and enjoy your meal surrounded by the lively sights and sounds of the market, or take your tostadas to go and explore the charming Coyoacán neighborhood. The staff really makes you feel welcome.
